In Solbiate Olona, the Commander of NRDC-ITA received a visit from the Polish consular representative.
Solbiate Olona, 16th September 2020. The meeting between Lieutenant General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta and Mrs. Adrianna Siennicka, Consul General of Poland, was held today at the Ugo Mara barracks, the operational headquarters of NATO Rapid Deployable Corps-Italy.
The meeting facilitated an update on the current delicate geo-strategic situation, particularly on the eastern side of the Alliance, as well as the activities carried out by NATO that benefit member countries. Additionally, the meeting was particularly encouraging in terms of strengthening ties with the Polish consular representative who, as a recent contributor to NRDC-ITA, provides the NATO Command in Milan with staff that guarantees multinational composition. The bond between Poland, Italy and all of NATO will increase in the coming months, with the support that NRDC-ITA will provide to the Joint Force Training Center, located in Bydogoszcz, during exercise Loyal Leda 2020.
The meetings between the NATO Command in Milan and international institutions improve with ongoing collaboration. These activities are of great importance for NRDC-ITA, confirming its readiness and ability to support the Alliance's policies, both in tackling crises and in promoting international stability.
