NRDC-ITA Commander met the Spanish consular representative, one of the oldest contributing nations to the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps - Italy.
Solbiate Olona, September 29, 2020. Today, at the operational headquarters of NATO Rapid Deployable Corps-Italy, a meeting between Lieutenant General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta and Mr. Eduardo Alonso Luengo, Consul General of the Kingdom of Spain, took place to discuss and interact on several themes.
The event was an opportunity to discuss about the current situation and appreciate the ongoing initiatives promoted by the Alliance during the COVID-19 emergency to the benefit of member countries. Furthermore, the meeting was invaluable in strengthening ties with Spain, which since 2002 has provided NRDC-ITA with staff that guarantee their support to the activities carried out by the Headquarters.
NRDC-ITA promotes continue interactions with international institutions and organizations to enhance existing positive relationships. These opportunities of mutual support are vital for the NATO Command to confirm its role as an organization ready and able to support the policies of the Alliance.
