HQ NRDC-ITA Hosts a Visit by Local Mayors

SOLBIATE OLONA (VA), 5 Dec 07. As part of its role as a major participant in the local community, HQ NRDC-ITA invited leading civic dignitaries to a Christmas buffet lunch today.

Christmas is traditionally a time for sharing a few of life’s pleasures with family and friends, and this is our way of recognising our friends and family in the local community says HQ NRDC-ITA’s spokesman Major Graham Cable.

In so doing the Commander, Lieutenant General Giuseppe Gay, welcomed a number of mayors from the local community to his Headquarters.

The visit lasted just over 2 hours and saw the mayors signing the visitors’ book prior to receiving an update on recent activities in the HQ’s main briefing room.

Following this, the hosts and guests exchanged Christmas gifts and greetings before enjoying an appropriately themed buffet lunch in the Officers’ Club.

It is important that we keep the local community informed as regards our current activities, and it is also the perfect time of year to enjoy some hospitality together concludes Major Cable.
