Inspector of Infrastructure of the Italian General staff visits NRDC-ITA

SOLBIATE OLONA (VA), 21 Feb 08. Lieutenant General Aldo Cinelli, the Inspector of Infrastructure of the Italian General Staff, visited HQ NRDC-ITA today.

The distinguished guest was met this morning by Lieutenant General Giuseppe E. Gay, Commander NRDC-ITA, and escorted to his host’s office where he was invited to sign the Visitors’ Book over refreshments.

Thereafter General Cinelli received a briefing on the Headquarters’ infrastructure from key members of the HQ and its Support Brigade. The briefing covered recent developments such as the construction of a new Medical Centre and relocation of the Family Support Centre to its newly refurbished quarters, while also outlining exciting future projects for Ugo Mara Barracks and those it houses.

The visit concluded with a tour of the Barracks, which enabled General Cinelli to witness first hand how developments are progressing.

There are exciting developments in progress, which will be of benefit to all of us who live and work in Ugo Mara Barracks said HQ NRDC-ITA’s spokesman, Major Graham Cable. We are therefore delighted that General Cinelli came to witness these for himself.
