SOLBIATE OLONA (VA) 03 MAY 2010. The Italian Chief of Defence Staff, General Vincenzo Camporini, and the Chief of the Italian Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Giuseppe Valotto, visited the Headquarters of the NRDC-ITA in Solbiate Olona on Monday 3rd May 2010.

After a meeting with General Gian Marco Chiarini, the Commander of the NRDC-ITA, General Camporini and General Valotto visited the new gymnasium and the nursery school. The nursery, which was opened last October by General Valotto, is one of the first of its kind in terms of family welfare structures in the Italian Armed Forces. At the moment there are 43 children attending the school, all children of personnel serving at NRDC-ITA, both Italian and International. The school is also open to the civilian community within Solbiate Olona.
