Support Battalion change of command

Solbiate Olona (VA), 16th September 2016. Today took place the handover-takeover ceremony among Lieutenant Colonel Fabrizio Fugallo and Lieutenant Colonel Davide Beneduce as NRDC-ITA Support Battalion Commander.

“it has been a very demanding year -Lt. Col. Fugallo said in his farewell speech- and I wish to thank everyone of you for your working hard under my Command to successfully accomplish every single task with deep respect and loyalty”.

Lt. Col. Davide Beneduce is an expert in logistics as he served for a long time as planner within the NRDC-ITA Joint Logistic Support Group and is the newly appointed Commander of the NRDC-ITA Support Battalion. The unit with its depending companies is in support of NRDC-ITA HQ, either in garrison or when deployed for exercise and operation. Among the tasks: force protection providing, movements and transportation as well as daily logistics and sustainment. Supporting the HQ in both training and operational activities, the Battalion ensures a big part of the HQ readiness and deployability.

All NRDC-ITA staff welcome Lt. Col. FUGALLO aboard within the CIMIC branch and wish Lt. Col. BENEDUCE good luck for a successful and fulfilling period of command.
