NIWIC: Solidarity donation to paediatric ward

Solbiate Olona (VA), 22th march 2017. Today a donation took place in favour of the children of the paediatric ward of Busto Arsizio Hospital. The event organized by the NIWIC, NRDC-ITA Women's International Club (NIWIC) with the support of the Morale & Welfare Activities Office, has involved children and young patients (0-18 years); the initiative took placed in the presence of the Paediatric Department medical personnel and children’s parents, in an playful atmosphere of solidarity.

This initiative confirms NIWIC concrete commitment to solidarity and strengthens the relationship with the territory of the Olona Valley. In this very special day, NIWIC and the NRDC-ITA wanted to help in lifting patients moods with an action as simple as giving toys to children. Happiness and joy are proved to be very effective in providing a positive benefit both to patients and their families.
