NRDC-ITA and NIWIC at the Paediatric Department of Gallarate

Gallarate (VA), 25th May 2017. The NIWIC - NRDC-ITA Women's International Club (NIWIC) – continues its effort in favour of young patients of the paediatric wards of “ASST Valle Olona” hospitals.

Previously, a similar event took place for the benefit of patients (0-18 Y.O.) of the Busto Arsizio Hospital (22nd March 2017) and today a toy donation has taken place in favour of young “guests” of the Gallarate Hospital Paediatric Ward.

This event, organized with the support of the Morale & Welfare Activities Office, took placed in the presence of the Paediatric Department medical personnel and children’s parents, involving patients and their family members whose routine have been break by the playful atmosphere of this moment of solidarity.

In this very special day, NIWIC and the NRDC-ITA wanted to help in lifting patients moods with an action as simple as giving toys to children. Happiness and joy are proved to be very effective in providing a positive benefit both to patients and their families.
