Visit of the Interregional Commander "Pastrengo" to NRDC-ITA

Solbiate Olona, Feb. 20, 2023.The Commander of Interregional Carabinieri Command Pastrengo, responsible for Lombardy, Liguria, Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, Lieutenant General Gino Micale, was welcomed by the Commander of NRDC-ITA, Lieutenant General Lorenzo D'Addario, at Ugo Mara barracks, today.

During the event, General Micale was briefed on the organization, ongoing tasks and future prospects of the NATO Command in Solbiate Olona after the successful Exercise Steadfast Jackal 22 and in the light of the busy training calendar ahead this year.

General Micale was then introduced to the Senior National Representatives of the NRDC-ITA’s contributing nations and further expressed his appreciation for the HQs professionalism and high capability to be always ready to manage a crisis situation at the national or international level.

Finally, General Micale had a base facilities tour and underlined the Headquarters close relationship with the local community and with Carabinieri as a model for effective interagency cooperation.
